The finale concert of our 50th Season features a new 15-minute commission for choir, organ, and strings by Worcester-based composer Leonardo Ciampa on a set of early 20th century by Ernest Vinton Brown called “The Worcester Poems.” Alongside this work, we are excited to be sharing a selection of favorite pieces that represent our musical history, including works by Gwyneth Walker, Alice Parker, Moses Hogan, Shawn Kirchner, Dan Forrest, JS Bach, William Grant Still, and more.
Save the date for “Sing On! An Anniversary Celebration” on Monday, May 13 at Redemption Rock Brewing. This fundraising event will include group singing led by Brad Dumont alongside special guest performances from The Daily Special last year’s featured Barbershop Quartet.
