By Salisbury Singers (other events)

Saturday, February 24 2024 1:00 PM 8:30 PM EDT

ABOUT ABOUT

Join Salisbury Singers and Dr. Jace Kaholokula Saplan for a one-day mid-Winter choral residency for community singers from across the region. The focus of this event is creating a joy-filled singing experience to connect deeply with repertoire, curated by Jace, that represents a wide variety of styles and traditions. Singers will be asked to lightly prepare some songs in advance and other music will be learned on site. The day will include time to meet singers from across the New England region who attend and will culminate in an informal concert. Funding from this event will go to support the Salisbury Singers 50th Season Celebrations.

All singers are welcome to join. Please be in touch directly if you'd like to bring a larger group from your community chorus or school. Please also be in touch if registration costs are a concern as we have some scholarship available to support those who need it.

NEW!!! - When you register for this event you will automatically receive a discount code to attend the Music Worcester concert recital with Jeanine De Bique on February 23.

If you are a singer who would like to participate, but need some learning supports to study the music in advance, please respond to that question in the registration and we will work to support you with part tracks and other resources.

Looking to attend the concert only as a non-singer? Make sure to reserve your concert ticket separately!
